WOW!!! WE ARE SO THANKFUL FOR ALL OF YOU AND YOUR GENEROSITY TO THE HAMILTON STUDENTS!

A big thank you to everyone who was able to attend the fundraiser on February 10th and to those who gave so generously but were unable to attend. It was a beautiful night and a testament to the broader community that cares so much for the students and the mission of Hamilton School. Including pledges, we were able to raise approximately $88,000 for the Academic Enrichment program.  We are currently working with Bay Area Community Resources on putting together a dynamic, engaging, and intellectually stimulating 5 week program for this summer.   We have sent home a flyer to every student in the 4th - 7th grades.  We will also have some flyers in the Mentor Center.   If your student is currently in 4th,5th,6th,or 7th grade and will be returning to Hamilton next year, please encourage them to sign up for this program. It will be limited to 100 students. If you have a relationship with their parent(s), please explain the program to them and encourage them to sign up their child.  The program will have a $50 enrollment fee which provides buy-in from the family and helps assure that the child attend every day.  The actual cost of the program will be approximately $70,000 or $700/student.  This is an amount that clearly would not be affordable for our families.  So, again, a big thank you to all of you and our community for stepping up and providing this for our students.  The remainder of the funds will be used for an after school enrichment program that will mirror the summer program.  If you did not get a chance to donate and you would like to be a part of this, we would love your help.  100% of your dollars will go towards this program. You can simply drop off a check in the office to Patty Ravetti or Catherine Pace made payable to Hamilton School.

We did it!  A big thank you to all!  At last year's fundraiser the Mentors, Parents, faculty, and friends of Hamilton came together and raised enough money to purchase two beautiful new vans! They have made so much possible for Hamilton School.

From Steve Hospodar, Principal Hamilton School:

Oh the places we will go.… And we have!  It’s hard to believe that we ever functioned without vans in the past. They have been a game changer for all of us. They have taken our kids to wrestling meets in San Francisco, cross country events at Stinson,  band concerts at Six Flags, and even to San Quentin on a field trip, just to name a few.

Through your generosity we have removed obstacles and evened the playing field...a heartfelt appreciation to all of your from all of us.

Thank you!, Steve
